This design addressed the recurrent and common problem of the bungalow conservatory. By demolition, replanning and addition Crichton demonstrated how a sympathetic design can transform a dysfunctional building into a home that flows with easy living, light and sunshine. This home was featured widely in the press and was also a popular design featured in Edinburgh doors open day.
This design was a conversion of a listed stable block into four separate houses. Crichton added four modern Scots stair towers with glass lanterns creating an exciting visual as you stood in the courtyard. This award winning design received widespread acclaim including commendation by the Saltire Society and exhibited in the Royal Scottish Academy.
